Dene Lindley lives in a small village in South Yorkshire. He enjoys being outdoors, surrounded by nature, and all her beauty. It is here where he feels totally at ease with the world. Dene is a gregarious person who has been described by his children, as a cross between Billy Connolly and Spike Milligan. He has lived with depression for over twenty years, which he caught off one of his friends whilst playing out in the garden. His creativity occasionally tips him over the edge of reason, but his thirst for knowledge shows no bounds. He once read the dictionary backwards with his eyes shut. His characteristics and idiosyncrasies help make up a complex individual, who is always able to laugh at his misfortunes and constant bad luck. He would like this book to be an inspiration for hay-fever sufferers throughout Siberia.
